As you know, my interest lies  in exploring the thousands of ways that it is now possible to make money online.  Go back just 3-5 years and mostly all you could buy were info products that still left you lost for what to do.  You didn’t have the skills, knowledge or tools to be able to implement the great ideas and ways.

Now though, it’s just so much easier.  In the last two years, making money online’s finally become a reality for anybody that cares to take a little bit of time to do it.  It’s as simple as that. 

One of the latest free tools people are using - and it seems EVERYBODY is using - is Twitter.  And, yes, you can make money from Twitter!   Essentially, to make money from Twitter you need to open an account (well, that’s free) and then encourage people to follow you.  Once you have followers, then you have what is probably the quickest and easiest “list” of people to market to.

Now, it’d just be plain rude to get all those followers and try to repeatedly sell to them all day long - that’s not how it works.   People will just stop following you …  and you’re back to square one.  But, used properly, you can build up thousands of people following you in a very short amount of time.  I think the first time I tried a technique I went from 6 people following me to 160 people following me - for just 3 minutes’ work.  Wow … so I told my friend and he tried it.  Now, he’s a photographer and just wants people to come to his photos and admire them on flickr - so he’s happily twittering away, showing his photos with his followers and hoping somebody leaves some nice feedback on his Twittr account.

All very nice, he’s happy, but it’s not making him money is it - and for many this isn’t an issue.  But, if you DO want to make fairly easy money from Twitter then it can be done.

Most people doing Marketing today know that they should be using product reviews as part of their Marketing efforts.  However, lately I’ve been hearing more people complain that they can’t do this because they are not writers and don’t know how to write “product reviews.”

In all honesty, it takes even a good writer about 1 hour for each new niche product they research. Between finding the niche, finding a product, seeing if it has an affiliate program, researching the product and then finally writing the review - it can take an hour easily! From personal experience, an hour is just about enough time to have found, downloaded and started looking at a product’s basic features that I am interested in - it’s certain ly not time enough to really put it through its paces or think about what other people are looking for in a product! My ability to do a review is limited to being able to agree that “it looks OK to me/it worked for my needs”, which is fine for about 2% of the marketplace, but what about other people who came to my site looking for confirmation they are about to buy the right product?

It’s a fact that most people reading product reviews have their money in their hand and they’re ready to buy - they just need to get the nod that they’re making the right decision - and that is something you can only do if you are a professional product review writer, or have spent 2-5 days really putting the product through its paces … do YOU have 2-5 days to spend to write one review that somebody may or may not buy from? I know I don’t.
