Auction Thumbs: Probably the Most Flexible Wordpress eBay Plugin I’ve Seen
I’ve been trialling quite a few ebay Wordpress plugins lately, as well as trying various other coding methods to try to get just what I want - and for it to work!
Well, then I cam across Auction Thumbs - hurrah at its flexibility!
Auction Thumbs creates great looking image galleries of items for sale in ebay that really look good on the page! And there’s a choice of layouts, you could have some listings going across the page, or even slip them into your sidebar area - I don’t know about you but I need something attractive in the right hand sidebars of most of my sites and the Auction Thumbs eBay Wordpress plugin really excited me.
Once you’ve uploaded the Auction Thumbs plugin and activated it, you simply enter your eBay EPN campaign code and select where you want your ads to appear. With Auction Thumbs you can display your eBay adverts easily in several places. You can:
- Display a gallery of thumbnails
- Display pictures below each of your posts
- Use it as a widget in your blog’s sidebar
By default, the thumbnails will immediately show up in the footer of every current and every archived post on your blog once you’ve activated the plugin. There’s a full set of options in the admin panel so you can control everything from inside your WordPress dashboard.
One neat feature is tag-matching, if you turn the tag-matching option on, then it eill automatically show items from ebay that match your tags. On most of my sites that isn’t going to be necessary, but I can think of a couple of sites where that’d really be perfect and save me some time!
The thumbnails will either be displayed in the Post Footer of each post, in the Sidebar, or both - it’s your choice.
Auction Thumbs isn’t a product for inserting items into your posts, this is more about automating your blog and monetizing your blog easily, while saving you even more time.
Auction Thumbs is more flexible than the eBay tools you get in the EPN - and it produces high quality/classy looking listings that really enhance your blog.
Auction Thumbs even works in your rss feed, so if you’ve got subscribers then they’ll be getting your ebay feeds (with your affiliate code) in those too!
