Pay MORE for Your Google Adwords PPC Adverts with Clickbank Products
I was just surfing around the Net … *coughs* … er, that’s real work, honest! And I came across a blog entry where it was pointed out that you can pay less for clicks at night. So, that seems a great idea doesn’t it. Pay less for your google Adwords PPC clicks when advertising Clickbank products.
But I don’t think this is something I’d advise. I think you should be paying MORE for your Google Adwords adverts. Yes. MORE. No … keep reading, you’ll like this!
If you are using Google Adwords to promote clickbank products, then there’s a really nifty piece of analytics you can use to your advantage, that needs NO setting up. This fountain of information is just sitting there waiting to be plundered by you for your evil deeds… *insert menacing cackle*…
When you’re logged into Clickbank, if you go to Reports, Analytics, you can select a date range and see at what time people actually BOUGHT. So, if you know the hours of the day when people are actually buying Clickbank products from your website, why on earth would you be showing your adverts the rest of the time? Doh!
Simply set your Google Adwords campaigns to only run at the hours when your website visitors are buying and straight away you’re cutting out most of the tyre kickers’ clicks! Genius!
Doing a quick scan on my account, for a given date range, I can spot that I could have got the same sales from 30% less clicks, just by targetting only my site’s “peak buying hours”. So I am either saving 30% from my advertising bill, or, I can up my google adwords ppc price during those peak hours to give me even better results!
