Writing ebooks is a great way to earn a part-time, or even full-time income.  Every day, ebooks become more popular as people are using the Internet to instantly get information on their hobby or interest.

One interesting statistic is that premium accounts outsell free accounts by 700%, which means it’s easy for you to work out when you’re most likely to be better off paying! TradeBit

TradeBit will sell your ebooks for free. Your ebook can be uploaded in either Microsoft Word or PDF format.

With TradeBit, you can set up an affiliate programme, so other people can sell your eBook for a commission.

Tradebit provides a Wordpress sidebar widget to website owners to help them sell your ebooks, a popular feature wieht webmasters which can mean increased sales for you!

Costs: There are no fees to use TradeBit, they will keep just 25% of your sales revenue.

Lulu

Lulu has been going for years and is acknowledged as the best site on the Internet for self-publishing.

To sell your ebooks for free, you need to sign up and then upload your eBook.  Lulu will accept various formats: a Microsoft word document or a PDF file - as well as other less common formats:

  • DOC (Word Document)
  • RTF (Rich Text Format)
  • WPS (Works Document)
  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
  • PS (Postscript)
  • JPG (Joint Photographics Expert Group)
  • GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)
  • PNG (Portable Network Graphic)

Lulu is a very reputable company, with a well designed website and lots of help.

Costs: There are no fees to use Lulu. They keep just 25% of your sales revenue.

Cyber Read

Cyber Read is another long-standing company.  Cyber Read will accept books in any one of four file formats: Microsoft Word, PDF, Microsoft Reader, or Mobipocket.  So long as your ebook is any of these formats, you can sell your ebooks for free with Cyber Read. 

Costs: There are no fees to use Cyber Read, but they will keep 45% of your sales revenue.

Create your first ebook today and upload it to all four, see what happens!  There’s no telling which will work best for you. You just have to try them and see!
