For years people have been earning money as a homeworker by being an Avon lady. This involved distributing the Avon catalogue among family and friends, taking it to work, or even plodding the streets building up your regular round and customers. Avon is a great brand, everybody knows it and trusts it, so wouldn’t it be great if you could do this online … well, now you can!

Well, the simple way to do this is to find three streets of 50 houses and drop your catalogue off at the first row on night one. Then collect the catalogue on day 3. That frees you up to then take those catalogues along your second road once you’ve collected them all. So at the end of day 3 you’ve collected your 50 catalogues back and have already put them into doors 51-100. Collect them again two nights later and you can post them through doors 101-150.
Now, I’m sure that pattern of working might not fit your life, but you can see how it works and it works whether you have 10 catalogues, 20, 50 or 100. It is certainly the most efficient way of working and re-working those catalogues to death, to squeeze every ounce of sales out of them.
Avon in the Digital Age
What if you don’t live in a densely populated area? What if you’re in a six house hamlet 15 miles from the nearest shop? Doing Avon, or any kind of catalogue sales just simply wouldn’t be possible.

I’ve found a way to do this. Avon don’t do it direct, so it’s not a simple issue of signing up with them then getting a website. But there is now a way to earn money online selling Avon products. If you’ve already got a website you can add this in straight away. If you don’t already have your own website, then this might be a great idea of what to put on one! You could, for example, create a website giving people makeup tips and hints and selling Avon products from your website too! But I’m sure you’ll have your own great ideas of how it can work.
To become an online Avon lady it’s two steps and a little wait. There are no fees or charges for this:
1] Firstly, you need to join a company called Join Link Share . This is what’s known as an affiliate company.
2] Once you’ve joined them, log in and do a search for Avon and apply to join the Avon Affiliate Programme. Then it’s just a small wait until they approve you. You will need a website address for that, so if you’ve not got one already then at least Join Link Share UK now and have a look around. There might be other companies that catch your eye while you think about what’s going to be on your website.
