eBay Change the Rules … Is it Time to Move?
“Is it time to move from ebay?” This is a question a lot of regular and wannabe ebay affiliates and sellers will have been asking themselves this week.
eBay have changed the rules and are now charging smaller listing fees, but larger commissions on a sale. This move is believed to be putting off a lot of smaller sellers, it’s not just been this change, but eBay have been quietly making tweaks here and there to their business model over the last 1-2 years that have systematically upset various groups of sellers.
Personally, I’ve never traded with ebay. I’ve sold some bits and bobs and some furniture when I moved (and was staggered by the results I got!) but I’ve never had the time nor patience to trade there regularly to earn money working from home.
So, what are the alternatives? Well,
ebid has been around quite a while and is very popular, well established and reputable… in fact a lot of sellers have been quietly raking in money over on ebid for a number of years.
It seems the marketplace move en masse into one or other players in all the games, yet around the edges, tohers are cleaning up and making a good living working from home using the “Also Rans”. So what if eBid always came second to eBay? It still had enough of a market reach for most people! In fact a lot of people have been quietly making a living buying items on one of the auction sites and simply reselling them on the other! How easy can life get?
So, if you’re an ebay seller or were thinking about it, why not
